From dark decor style guides to incredibly captivating room designs, I’m totally mesmerized by her designs and eye for truly cultivating a mood with those cozy and chic vibes 👀
(and I cannot express enough how her YouTube channel is filled with aspiring videos to help you make your spaces into your very own moody dreamscapes, as we will soon see 😍)
For tonight’s TGIF blog post, I wanted to discuss a few styles I’ve recently been obsessed with and also talk about how I plan to incorporate and infuse them into my own personal design sense…
Since you can’t take the emo out of the kid, embracing a moody and dark aura seems to be what’s calling to me this summer (and yes, you can still be dark and colorful, you’ll see 😈)

As always, I never quite fit exactly somewhere and I’m always blending vibes together to try and find my essence… hence why I feel like I embody both styles and energies, in my fashion and home decor aesthetics.

Moody Dark Cruel Summer LookBook 👀
Thinking ahead to east coast s’Morbid Summer, I have a few ideas and looks I want to try and recreate this year that really capture that moody and whimsical dark gothic boho energy!
Still using the layering system (as we tend to get a lot of wind off the coastal harbour and it can be cold) with comfy long sweaters and dusters, but excited to bring out the platform sandals and flowy maxi dresses with my circle sunglasses 😎
I know I did a challenge (with myself) last month to create my style formula & figure out my quick pick outfits a lot easier, and I haven’t given you the results of that little experiment yet 🙈
However, I will do a recap on the outcomes of BOTH of these formulaic fashion experiments next month (July ’25) WITH photos, I promise.
