Oh, hello! π You’re back again, so soon. I see you’re intrigued by what you’ve seen and would like a taste of more… (morbidity)

I’m glad we’ve found each other, Boils and Ghouls, and that we can vibe together within this creepy corner π·οΈ of the interwebs πΈοΈ
I’d like to think the universe has brought you here which fills my dark soul with such joy π€ (or you’ve subscribed ππ»)
Consuming Scary Stories And Morbid Media

For today’s short n’ sweet Sunday blog post, I wanted to share with you just some of my favorite scary stories and morbid media I consume on a regular basis (don’t worry, I take good care of myself with eye-bleach and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia references)

Perculiar Podcasts π§
I’ve only recently started listening to Audiobooks and Podcasts (using Spotify Premium, not sponsored) as I’ve always struggled to find the right activity to pair with them, so that I could actually pay attention to the stories. I found that going for walks or doing things around the house has been the easiest way for me to consume this form of media.
Since I’ve found a few that have sunk their teeth into me, I want to share them with you, in hopes you might also get hooked…
Radio Rental

I recently discovered this Podcast through my creepy content feed and was immediately grabbed by the throwback, retro branding and eerie feeling of an uncanny nostalgia that captures your curiosity and consumes your entire being…
or maybe it’s just me, then π
In particular, Episode 64 really solidified by obsession with this peculiar podcast: the immersive and dread-inducing narratives of actual experiences (submitted by real listeners), layered with exceptionally high quality SFX and blood-curdling atmospheric depth to really chill you to the bones as you imagine being exactly where they were, in that exact moment…

Rainn Wilson… no, sorry – Terry Carnation does a fantastic job as your shopkeeper/host to assist in-between the ‘tapes’ and help you recalibrate and chuckle through your nerves as he delivers the best eccentric energy to balance that creepy, uncertain chaos!

Nexpo
I originally found Nexpo on YouTube and absolutely loved his production and content quality (which was what made me excited to start listening to his Podcast π)
Late Nights With Nexpo

Now I can get my creepy chills in, on the go, in a Podcast-format that is just as high quality and immersive as his YT content!
Long-time subscriber to Nexpo and would highly recommend anyone who enjoys getting spooked to also creep his content closer π
This episode I recently listened to I found particularly disturbed and borderline hard to stomach, as they discussed the infamous research facility in Japan during the War, and the experiments conducted in the 1930s-1940s : Unit 731…

Creepy YouTube Content πΉ
Before listening to Podcasts, I would regularly consume (and still do) a lot of creepy content on YouTube and for your listening and viewing pleasure, I also wanted to share some of the creepy content on YouTube…
β οΈATTENTION!
VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED on the following videos due to sensitive and disturbing subject matter.

Some other YouTubers I’ve subscribed to like Nick Crowley, also produces high-quality and captivating content, along with Lazy Masquerade & Cadaber, and you will definitely want to keep a light or two on while watching some of these π¨

The way in which they tell these terrifyingly true stories really makes you question what reality you are in (and whether you want to be in it…)

Seems like my morbid curiosity clearly gets the best of me, because I will never stop consuming the creepiest content online (and I’ll always be afraid of the dark…)

Drop a π» if you’ve read up until this point, and toss in your favorite spooky Podcasts or YouTube Channels in the comments π¬
I told you this would be a short ‘n sweet post today just to obsess over some of the scary stories and morbid media I consume, but which may truly consume me…
Until we meet again,

Have you heard of the SCP Foundation?
